Previous Experience

AWS Linux Support Engineer (Remote)

As a dedicated Support Engineer at Amazon Web Services, my role revolved around optimizing AWS infrastructure with a focus on Linux environments and AWS EC2. This position allowed me to hone my technical skills in the Bash and Ubuntu, ensuring robust cloud solutions for our clients..

Day to day work included setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Amazon Linux 2, Apache and infrastructure components such as SSH, SFTP and FTP.

As well hands-on experience with Amazon VPC, EC2, EBS, Load Balancers, AMI.

Currently goal:Pivot to Software engineering.

Education

I obtained my Bachelors of Computer Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Most of my coursework revolved around Android App Development and Web Development.

I have also obtained a Level 1 Certifcate in Game & Interactive Multimedia Design from Mt. San Antonio College.

Skills and Abilities

Some of the prorgamming languages I am familar with are Kotlin, Java, MySQL, HTML, and CSS although I have also worked with Python, PugJS and Javascript.
